7월 29일경 스포츠 조선에 올라온 기사에 따르면 비자문제로 잠시 한국에 와있다고 합니다.

Angels placed RHP Joel Pineiro on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain.
He's out for the next six-to-eight weeks. Pineiro was pulled while warming up in the bullpen prior to Wednesday's game. The right-hander was 10-7 with a 4.18 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP through 20 starts this season.

In other words, he has strained ribs. Balfour, who has pitched very well this year for the Rays, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. His injury is likely what prompted the team to trade for Chad Qualls.

He returns to a .167/.211/.241 line in 58 plate appearances over a pair of stints with the Mariners this year. He's starting at third base on Saturday.

Wallace, who was acquired from the Blue Jays Thursday, will be thrown right into the fire, as he's in Saturday's starting lineup. He's batted .301 with 18 homers and 61 RBI in his hitter-friendly home park in Las Vegas this season. Wallace stands a chance at generating a good amount of value in NL-only leagues right away.

Marlins acquired LHP Will Ohman from the Orioles for RHP Rick Vandenhurk.
Ohman has turned himself into a valuable LOOGY, allowing an 87 OPS+ to left-handed batters but a 149 OPS+ to right-handed hitters. He has a 3.30 ERA over 51 appearances, but that number is inflated by a few terrible outings. Ohman will help set up Leo Nunez in taking his talents to South Beach.

캔자스시티 로얄스가 현재 감독인 네드 요스트와 2012년까지 연장계약을 맺었습니다.

지난 5월에 해임된 트레이 힐만을 대신해서 임시감독직을 맡았었던 요스트는 감독기간동안 31승 37패를 기록했습니다.

2008년까지 밀워키를 이끌었으며 통산 457승 502패의 기록을 가지고 있습니다.

Dodgers acquired RHP Octavio Dotel from the Pirates for OF Andrew Lambo and RHP James McDonald.
Dotel should do well in a setup role for the Pirates, but it sure seems like he could have been had for less. Lambo has posted nice numbers at Double-A as a 21-year-old and McDonald is a nice rotation candidate for the Pirates. Dotel, 36, has posted a 4.28 ERA and 1.30 WHIP this season. 

LA 다저스가 피츠버그 파이어리츠의 구원투수 옥타비오 도텔을 외야수 앤드류 램보와 우완투수 제임스 맥도날드를 주고 영입했습니다.

도텔은 다저스에서 마무리 브락스턴을 보좌하는 셋업맨을 맡을 것 이며 2010년 BA Top 10의 7위인 앤드류 램보와 쓸만한

우완투수라고 생각되는 제임스 맥도날드의 영입은 나이스 무브인 것 같습니다.

피츠버그가 단장 바뀌더니 크리스 스나이더 딜도 그렇고 트레이드를 괜찮게 하는 것 같습니다.

The Cardinals have made Jake Westbrook their No. 1 target of the trade deadline, according to ESPN's Jayson Stark.
Stark says the Cards have told other teams that they're backing off other starters and "going in a different direction." That direction, Stark says, is Westbrook. However, Stark also says that the odds of a trade happening are no better than "50-50." Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Dodgers are talking to the Cubs about a trade for Ted Lilly and Ryan Theriot.
It's not known if a deal is close, but the Cubs would likely have to kick in some of the roughly $5 million Lilly and Theriot are owed the rest of the way. 대해 이야기를 나누고 있다고 합니다.

테드 릴리에 이번시즌 연봉은 1200만달러이며, 올시즌 4년계약의 만료기간해로서 잔여시즌 500만달러 정도의 연봉이 남았습니다.

내야수 라이언 테리옷의 올시즌 연봉은 260만달러로서 잔여시즌 93만달러정도의 연봉이 남았습니다.

Orioles recalled 3B Josh Bell from Triple-A Norfolk.
He's in the lineup to play third base for the Orioles on Thursday against the Royals. The 23-year-old will get a chance to prove he is ready to be a major league regular, as the Orioles just shipped Miguel Tejada to the Padres. Bell is 5-for-19 (.263) with the O's in two stints earlier this season. He was ranked as the organization's No. 2 prospect by Baseball America over the winter and hit .278/.328/.481 in 344 plate appearances for Triple-A Norfolk. He's a must-add in all AL-only leagues but not yet a mixed league option.

White Sox signed RHP Jon Adkins to a minor league contract.
Adkins, 32, threw up a 5.46 ERA in 34 games for Louisville before the Reds cut ties with him last week. He will head to Triple-A Charlotte and is unlikely to carve a path to the major leagues this season.

Marlins purchased the contract of INF Hector Luna from Triple-A New Orleans.
Luna will take the roster spot vacated by Thursday afternoon's Jorge Cantu trade. The 30-year-old Luna hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2008 but he's posted a respectable .845 OPS, 16 homers and 71 RBI in 354 at-bats on the Triple-A level this season. Not bad.

Dodgers designated LHP Jack Taschner for assignment.
Taschner signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in June and was called up to the big leagues last week. But he allowed 14 earned runs in 19 2/3 innings and will either elect free agency or head back to Triple-A Albuquerque. It may be in his best interest to stick with the Dodgers.

Pirates released RHP Brendan Donnelly.
Donnelly was a huge bust after signing a one-year, $1.35 million contract over the winter, posting a 5.58 ERA and a 26/25 K/BB ratio over 38 appearances. The 39-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment by the club on Sunday.

He was ranked as the organization's No. 8 prospect by Baseball America over the winter. If he plays well, there's a chance he could unseat Chris Davis at first base.

이안 킨슬러가 부상자 명단에 오르면서 빈 자리를 대신하는 것 같습니다.

Akinori Iwamura, who is currently playing with Triple-A Indianapolis, was hospitalized and diagnosed with a concussion after a collision while running the bases Wednesday.
He ran into an infielder covering first base during the first inning of Wednesday's game. A CT scan and other tests came back negative, according to Pirates director of player development Kyle Stark, but Iwamura will be re-evaluated later in the week. Iwamura is batting .299/.450/.437 with two homers and 12 RBI over 87 at-bats since being optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis last month.

수요일 경기에서 1회말 수비에서 1루 베이스 커버를 하던중 상대선수와 충돌한 것으로 보입니다.

뇌진탕을 입어 병원에서  CT촬영등의 검사를 받았다고 합니다.

이번주말 정도에 다시 검진예정이라고 합니다.

올시즌 피츠버그에서 부진한 활약속에 얼마전 지명할당되었지만 찾는팀이 없어 트리플A에서 뛰던 

이와무라는 트리플A에서 87타석에서 .299의 타율 홈런 2개 12타점을 기록중이였습니다.

Nationals placed RHP Stephen Strasburg on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 22, with right shoulder stiffness.
There was some back-and-forth, but after Nationals manager Jim Riggleman announced that he would be shut down for ten days, this move made more and more sense. Former pitcher Jim Bunning can talk all he wants, but this is the right move to protect a special arm in a down year for the Nationals. Better to look to the future. It looks like the newly activated Scott Olsen will take his place for now.

워싱턴 내셔널스의 우완투수 스티브 스트라스버그가 오른쪽 어깨 통증으로 인하여 15일자 부상자 명단에

등재되었습니다.

그제 등판예정이었지만 어깨통증으로 등판취소가 된 후 걱정이 많았는데요.

감독인 짐 리글맨은 10일정면 회복할 수 있을것이라고 합니다.

스트라스버그의 로테이션 자리는 부상자 명단에서 복귀하는 스캇 올슨이 대신할 것입니다.

A major league source tells Bruce Levine of ESPNChicago.com that the Nationals want right-hander Daniel Hudson and another top prospect from the White Sox in exchange for Adam Dunn.
According to Levine, the Nationals have also asked for catcher Tyler Flowers, outfielder Jordan Danks or infielder Brent Morel. The White Sox already turned down a one-for-one trade that would have sent Gordon Beckham to Washington. Another source tells Levine that six teams, including the White Sox, Angels, Tigers and Rangers are in the bidding for Dunn's services.

ESPN 시카고닷컴에 브루스 레빈에 의하면 화이트삭스의 관심을 받고있는 아담던에 댓가로 우완투수 다니엘 허드슨을 원한다고 합니다.
