Birmingham have signed striker Adam Rooney on a two-year deal

after his contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle ended.

The 23-year-old scored 21 goals in 42 Scottish Premier League

games for Iverness last season. Rooney gained Football League

experience with Stoke, becoming their youngest-ever hat-trick scorer

against Brighton in 2006.

He joined Inverness in 2008 following a loan stint with Bury.

Rooney also had temporary spells with Yeovil and Chesterfield.

He began his career with Crumlin United and won two

Republic of Ireland Under-21 caps.

이 23살의 스트라이커는 지난시즌 스코티쉬 프리미어리그에서 42게임 출장하여

21골을 기록하는 좋은모습을 보였습니다.


2006년 스토크시티에서 프로생활을 한 루니는 여빌타운, 체스터 타운, 버리에서 임대생활을 했으며,

2008년부터 인버네스에 합류해서 뛰었습니다.


또한 그는 아일랜드의 21세 이하 대표팀의 일원이기도 하였습니다.

FM할때 스코틀랜드로 스카우터 보내면 항상 물어오는 친구였는데, 2부리그 지만

다시 잉글랜드로 돌아가는군요..

Birmingham's Michel makes loan move to AEK Athens

Michel joined the Blues from Spanish side Sporting Gijon last January
Birmingham City's Spanish midfielder Michel has joined AEK Athens on loan for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old joined Birmingham last January from Sporting Gijon but has made only nine first-team appearances.
Blues manager Alex McLeish says the presence of Barry Ferguson has kept the Spaniard out of the team.
"I am sorry the Michel one has not worked out but Barry Ferguson's form has been stunning and made it difficult for him," said McLeish.
"Who knows, it could have been different if he had got the nod ahead of Barry and played regular football.

"I've been involved in a few transfer dealings over the past couple of years and I'm disappointed one hasn't worked out."
Michel, whose full name is Miguel Marcos Madera, said: "I'm happy to have joined AEK, a team which plays in Europe. It is a well-known club with history in Greece and Europe.
"I've come here to play until the summer and we'll see after then."



버밍엄 시티의 중앙 미드필더 미첼이 그리스 클럽인 AEK 아테네로 임대를 떠납니다.

미첼은 1년전이 2010년 1월 스페인 클럽인 스프로팅 히혼에서 이적을 하여 버임엄에 합류했었습니다.

임대기간은 이번시즌 종료까지 이며, 25살의 이 선수는 버밍엄 합류이후에 1군팀에서 단 9경기만 출장했을뿐입니다.

팀의 감독인 알렉스 맥리쉬는 배리 퍼거슨의 존재로 인하여 미첼이 정규적인 출장 기회를 가지지 못하였고, 그것은 미첼을

어렵게 만들었다고 하였습니다. 

미첼은 AEK 아테네에 합류하여 기쁘다고 말했으며, 앞으로의 행보는 여름이되서 지켜보자고 하였습니다.

Blades sign Marcus Bent on loan from Birmingham City


Bent joined Birmingham from Charlton in the summer of 2008
Birmingham City striker Marcus Bent has moved to Sheffield United on loan until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old recently returned to the Blues from a loan spell at Wolves, where he made five appearances.
Bent previously played for the Championship club in 1999-2000, scoring 20 goals in 48 games, before moving to Blackburn Rovers for £2m.
He also played for new Blades manager, Micky Adams, at Leicester in 2003-04 and at Brentford in 1997-98.
Bent's contract with Birmingham is due to expire this summer. He has not figured in the first team this season.


버밍엄 시티에 공격수 마커스 벤트가 2부리그 챔피언쉽리그 쉐필드 유나이티드로 시즌 종료때까지 임대를 떠났습니다.
올해 32살의 공격수인 마커스 벤트는 2008년 찰튼을 떠나 버밍엄으로 합류했었으며,
올해 여름을 끝으로 버밍엄과의 계약이 만료되며, 올시즌 1군팀에서 제외되어 왔습니다.
쉐필드는 벤트가 2000-2001시즌 몸담았었던 팀이기도 합니다.
올시즌에도 울버햄튼으로 임대를 갔다왔었나 보네요..
