Jayson Stark of ESPN.com reports that Javier Vazquez has emerged as the Marlins' primary target.
Stark writes that the Marlins plan to use the money saved from the Dan Uggla trade on a starting pitcher. It would appear that those funds might be a bit limited after this week's addition of John Buck, but they apparently have Vazquez and Carl Pavano on their wish list. Pavano is reportedly seeking a deal similar to the three-year, $33 million contract Ted Lilly recently signed with the Dodgers, so Vazquez will come at a cheaper price off a down season. ESPN의 제이슨 스탁에 의하면 플로리다 말린스가 하비에르 바스케스를 노리고 있다고 합니다.

말린스는 댄 어글라를 트레이드 하면서 생긴 돈으로 선발투수를 보강하고자 한다고 하며, 

그 대상이 바스케스와 칼 파바노라고 합니다.

칼 파바노는 얼마전 다저스가 릴리와 계약한 3년 3천3백만달러 정도의 계약을 원하기 때문에 바스케스가 상대적으로

더 싼 대가를 지불하고 영입할 수 있다고 합니다.

바스케스는 올시즌 3년 3천4백만달러의 계약이 종료되었으며, 다시 컴백한 양키스에사 부진하며 내셔널리그용이라는

좋지않은 얘기를 잠재우지 못했습니다.

워싱턴과, 콜로라도, 세인트 루이스, 컵스도 이 베테랑 투수에게 관심이 있다고 합니다.

개인적으로 카디널스 가면 굉장히 잘 할 것 같습니다..

Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies have not yet exercised Miguel Olivo's $2.5 million option for 2011.
Tracy Ringolsby of FOXSports.com said Tuesday morning that the option was picked up, so we'll have to wait and see which report proves correct. Blue Jays claimed RHP Taylor Buchholz off waivers from the Rockies.
It's a bit surprising that the 28-year-old Buchholz made it through waivers and into Toronto's grasp. Sure, he posted an ugly 4.50 ERA and 9/6 K/BB ratio in 10 innings this year for the Rockies, but a few years ago he was regarded as one of the top young setup men in the game. The right-hander will look to turn things around in a new environment.

토론토 블루제이스가 콜로라도 로키스에서 웨이버 공시된 우완투수 테일러 벅홀츠에게 클레임을 통한 영입을 했습니다.

올해 28살의 우완투수인 벅홀츠는 부상에서 7월말에 돌아와 10이닝 동안 4.50의 방어율을 기록했습니다.

올시즌 연봉은 105만달러 정도였습니다.

Rockies released OF Brad Hawpe.
Hawpe was already going to be a free agent after the season, but the Rockies decided to cut him loose six weeks early. The 31-year-old was batting just .255/.343/.432 with seven homers and 37 RBI this season. Looking ahead, he's likely to be more valuable in the American League, where his subpar defense can be hidden in the DH spot. The Rangers, Red Sox and White Sox are known to have some interest.

콜로라도는 브래드 호프의 로스터 자리를 맷 레이놀즈라는 좌완투수를 트리플 A 스프링스에서 승격시켰습니다.

25세의 선수이며 올시즌 55이닝동안 2.62의 방어율과 삼진/볼넷 비율 67/16을 기록했습니다.


한 2,3년후에 한국에서나 봤으면 좋겠네요

Tracy Ringolsby of FOXSports.com reports that the Rockies "continue to talk" with the Marlins about infielder Jorge Cantu.
Like the Rangers, who also have interest in Cantu, the Rockies are looking for a right-handed run-producer. Cantu has hit .260/.308/.410 this season with 10 home runs and 54 RBI in 366 at-bats. Moving him would allow the Marlins to free up playing time for recently-recalled prospect Logan Morrison.

Red Sox purchased the contract of 1B Ryan Shealy from Triple-A Pawtucket.
No word on the corresponding roster move, though Niuman Romero is a possibility to be sent down. Shealy signed with the Red Sox last month after opting out of his minor league contract with the Rays. The 31-year-old outfielder has a .271/.335/.429 batting line over 538 at-bats in the big leagues between the Rockies and Royals. He batted .301/.354/.603 with seven homers and 20 RBI in 73 at-bats with Kansas City last season.

Rockies purchased the contract of first baseman Brad Eldred from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Eldred, 30, has put on quite a power display this season on the Triple-A level with 22 home runs and 64 RBI through 71 games. He is expected to see a good share of time at first base while Todd Helton (back, hamstring) is sidelined and is a player worth monitoring in NL-only leagues.

Marlins optioned RHP Chris Volstad to Triple-A New Orleans.
Volstad was given the boot after he dropped to 4-8 on the year by giving up five runs over three innings against the Dodgers on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old right-hander has a 4.78 ERA over 17 starts this season and has yet to match the promise he showed during the 2008 season. He'll continue to hone his craft in the minors.

볼스테드는 2006년 말린스의 1라운더 투수입니다.

한편 볼스테드를 대신해서 우완 불펜 버크 베든호프가 승격되었습니다.



Athletics purchased the contract of RHP Ross Wolf from Triple-A Sacramento.
Wolf was acquired two weeks ago in a trade that sent utilityman Jake Fox to Baltimore. The 27-yer-old Wolf had a 2.11 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP in 38 1/3 innings in the O's farm system and will pitch in long relief.

Orioles optioned RHP Chris Tillman to Triple-A Norfolk.
Tillman surrendered 15 runs -- 14 earned -- in four starts with the O's and will leave behind an 0-3 record, an 8.40 ERA and a 2.20 WHIP. The 22-year-old right-hander needs to begin showing signs of progress or he will join a long line of pitching prospect busts in Baltimore.

Indians recalled RHP Joe Smtih from Triple-A Columbus.
A roster spot was cleared for Smith on Monday when struggling starter David Huff was optioned to the minor leagues. Smith has been doing quite well as a late reliever down on the farm, with a 2.09 ERA in his last 19 appearances, and will serve in middle relief for the Tribe.

Rincon was cleared to make room for Huston Street's return from the disabled list. The veteran right-hander has allowed one run over two appearances with the Rockies this season.

The Athletics needed to clear a spot for Coco Crisp, so Patterson gets squeezed. The 27-year-old outfielder has a nice an intriguing power-speed combo, however he was batting just .204 with a 31/7 K/BB ratio over his first 103 at-bats this season.

Rangers activated OF Nelson Cruz from the 15-day disabled list.
As expected. Cruz has been on the disabled list since May 29 due to a left hamstring strain. He returns to a .327/.405/.729 triple-slash to go along with 10 home runs and 34 RBI.

Neal Cotts will miss the rest of the season due to hip surgery.
Cotts was already making his way back from Tommy John surgery, so this is obviously a pretty disappointing blow. The 30-year-old southpaw signed a minor league contract with the Pirates in January. He hasn't thrown a pitch in the majors since last May as a member of the Cubs.
