The 36-year-old batted just .239/.307/.356 with four home runs and six stolen bases for the Yankees and Cardinals last season. He also lacks range defensively and often plays curiously deep to make up for it.

Why are we not surprised by this? Feliz, who turns 36 in April, will have the opportunity to earn an $800,000 base salary if he makes the team and could make an additional $200,000 with incentives. The veteran third baseman just .218/.240/.293 with five home runs and 40 RBI with the Astros and Cardinals last season. His defense also took a nosedive, according to Ultimate Zone Rating. Needless to say, he can safely be ignored in fantasy leagues.

As long as everything goes smoothly next month in Arizona and Mahay manages to stay healthy, he should be a member of the Dodgers' Opening Day bullpen. The 39-year-old held left-handed hitters to a .219/.239/.281 batting line in 2010.

Riley, a former top prospect in the Orioles' organization, is quite a blast from the past. He hasn't pitched in professionally since 2008 and hasn't made an appearance in the big leagues since 2005. The southpaw has not received a spring training invite and will serve as organizational depth.

He'll also get an invite to spring training. Nix, 30, batted .291/.350/.455 with four home runs and 18 RBI over 182 plate appearances with the Reds last season. He has the reputation as a solid defender and could be a useful left-handed bat off the bench.

Rays signed RHP Juan Cruz to a minor league contract.
Cruz posted a 3.38 ERA in five appearances last season for the Royals before undergoing season-ending surgery on his throwing shoulder in mid-May. He's all better now, but the Rays will probably ask him to begin the 2011 season at Triple-A. He posted a 5.72 ERA over 50 1/3 innings in 2009.

The deal also carries an invitation to spring training, where Drese will try to break back into the major leagues. He hasn't pitched in a big league game since 2006 and is unlikely to have a big impact in Baltimore.

Blue Jays claimed LHP Wil Ledezma off waivers from the Pirates.
Ledezma, who turns 30 later this month, was designated for assignment by the Pirates before the holidays. While the southpaw posted a 0.94 ERA and 50/19 K/BB ratio over 38 1/3 innings with Triple-A Indianapolis last season, he had a 6.86 ERA over 27 relief appearances with the Pirates.

The Padres claimed Liz off waivers from the Orioles before the 2010 season but were unimpressed with the 4.83 ERA and 1.35 WHIP that he posted in 25 appearances at the Triple-A level last year. The 27-year-old righty will be on the hunt for a minor league contract and a spring training invite.

The 27-year-old right-hander didn't fare much better in the minors, compiling a 5.66 ERA and 54/31 K/BB ratio over 89 innings with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

He'll also get an invite to spring training. Pena, a former shortstop with Atlanta and Kansas City, converted to a pitcher during the 2009 season. The 29-year-old right-hander has a 3.76 ERA and 80/35 K/BB ratio over 95 2/3 innings as a reliever in the minor leagues. He struggled at the Triple-A level in the Giants organization last season, posting a 6.60 ERA and 21/14 K/BB ratio over 30 innings.

애틀란타와 캔자스시티를 거친 전 유격수 선수로서, 올시즌 샌프란시스코 더블 A와 트리플 A에서 던졌습니다.

저는 시삭스에 있는 강속구 투수 말하는줄 알았는데, 유격수 보던 페냐 였습니다.

2009년에도 투수로 던진기록이 몇 게임 있기는 한데, 2010시즌부터 본격적으로 전향한듯 싶습니다.

Diamondbacks signed OF Xavier Nady to a one-year, $1.75 million contract.
The 32-year-old can also earn up to $1 million via performance-based incentives. He hit just .256/.306/.353 with six home runs in 317 at-bats this year for Chicago, but it wasn't long ago that he was crushing balls for the Pirates. The D'Backs will use him in the outfield and at first base.

Orioles signed RHP Jeremy Accardo to a one-year, $1.08 million contract.
Accardo was non-tendered by the Blue Jays after posting an 8.10 ERA and 2.25 WHIP over five appearances in 2010. The O's will hope that he can bounce back to the kind of form that he showed in his earlier years in Toronto. He registered a gorgeous 2.14 ERA over 64 appearances back in 2007.

Brewers and OF Carlos Gomez avoided arbitration Friday by agreeing to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.
It doesn't change the fact that he still could be traded, as the Brewers are likely to start Lorenzo Cain in center field and would love to barter Gomez for a decent pitcher if they can. Gomez is a terrific defender but simply doesn't get on base enough to utilize his speed.

Athletics claimed RHP Philip Humber off waivers from the Royals.
Humber, a former first-round pick, was designated for assignment by Kansas City earlier this week. He finished with a decent 4.15 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 2010 at the big league level and may climb his way to the majors next year as an Athletic if things go well at spring training.

Pirates signed RHP Kevin Correia to a two-year, $8 million contract.
The 30-year-old posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.49 WHIP over 28 games (26 starts) with the Padres this past season. A higher walk and home run rate resulted in Correia regressing from the previous season, and although he could improve both rates in 2011, going from San Diego to Pittsburgh won't help him. We're not expecting him to do anything more than eat some innings.

피츠버그 파이어리츠가 우완투수 케빈 코레이아와 2년 8백만달러의 조건으로 계약을 맺었습니다.

이 30살의 선수는 올시즌 파드레스에서 주로 선발로 뛰며, 5.40의 방어율을 기록했습니다.

개인적으로는 의문의 영입이라고 생각합니다.

4,5선발 정도의 선수가 피츠버그에 지금 연간 400만달러의 돈을 지불하면서 필요가 있을까 싶고, 투수진의 경험많은 선수를 원한다면

코레이아 보다는 더 낳은 선수를 영입했어야 하는게 아닌지 생각됩니다.



Rays signed RHP Joel Peralta to a one-year, $925,000 contract.
Peralta was curiously non-tendered by the Nationals this month despite posting a stellar 2.02 ERA and 49/9 K/BB ratio over 49 innings in 2010. He should be a valuable piece in middle relief for the Rays.

템파베이 레이스가 우완투수 조엘 페랄타와 1년 92.5만달러의 조건으로 계약을 맺었습니다.

투수진의 출혈이 큰 레이스 불펜에 한 자리를 차지할 수 있을 것 같습니다.

The deal also includes an invitation to spring training, where Gaudin will attempt to win a spot in the Nationals' bullpen as a long reliever. He posted a 5.65 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 65 1/3 innings this past year.

Moseley was non-tendered by the Yankees earlier this month after posting a 4.96 ERA and 1.42 ERA over 65 1/3 innings during the 2010 season The Padres are likely to use him in long relief and hope he finds better results in a bigger park. He may also be in line for a few spot starts.

Langerhans also got an invitation to spring training, but he is unlikely to land a spot on Seattle's Opening Day roster after batting just .196/.344/.318 with three home runs over 107 at-bats for the M's in 2010.

The deal also includes an invitation to spring training, where Stairs will look to claim a spot on the Nationals' 2011 bench. He hit six homers and six doubles in 99 at-bats for the Padres in 2010 and is a fine left-handed pinch-hitting option. Granted, he is a liability in the outfield.

Choate, 35, will earn $1 million in 2011 and $1.5 million in 2012 with the opportunity to gain another $150,000 in performance-based incentives. He held left-handed batters to a sparkling .202/.263/.266 batting line this year and should make for a fine lefty specialist in 2011 for the Fish.

올해 35살의 선수로서 2011년엔 100만달러, 2012년에는 150만달러의 연봉을 받게 되며, 성적에 따라 15만달러의 옵션도 있습니다.

The Royals had to clear a spot on their 40-man roster for recently-signed outfielder Jeff Francoeur. Humber, 27, posted a decent 4.15 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 2010, but he carries an ugly 5.26 career ERA.

A's signed RHP Vinnie Chulk to a minor league contract.
Chulk posted a 4.96 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 10.5 K/9 rate at Triple-A Indianapolis in the Pirates organization in 2010 before being sold to the Hiroshima Toyo Carps in Japan at midseason. He didn't fare well overseas, posting a 5.79 ERA over 18 2/3 innings. Chulk has a 4.33 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over 276 1/3 career major league innings and will compete for a bullpen spot in spring training.

오클랜드 에이스가 우완투수 비니 척과 마이너리그 계약을 맺었습니다.

올시즌 피츠버그 산하 트리플 A팀에서 4.96의 방어율을 기록했으며, 일본 프로야구 히로시마 도요 카프에서도 뛰었습니다.

Blue Jays signed 3B Edwin Encarnacion to a one-year, $2.5 million contract with a $3.5 million club option for 2012.
Encarnacion was claimed off waivers by the Athletics in November, but the Blue Jays were probably going to non-tender him, anyway. They ended up getting him back for significantly less than than $4.75 million he made this past season, so Alex Anthopoulos did pretty well here. Encarnacion, who turns 28 in January, batted just .244/.305/.482 with 21 homers and 51 RBI in 2010. He's an awful defender at the hot corner, so it looks like the Jays plan to use him in a tandem with Adam Lind at first base and designated hitter moving forward.

Evertt hit just .185/.221/.247 over 81 at-bats for Detroit last season before getting released and taking the rest of the year off. Although not as good as he used to be, Everett is still pretty slick with the leather. He will compete for a bench spot.

올시즌 디트로이트에서 81타석동안 1할8푼5리의 타율을 기록했습니다.

수비가 좋은 선수이기때문에 밴치자리를 노릴 것입니다.

Not much of a surprise. Crosby was just a warm body in the Chris Snyder trade, anyway. The 30-year-old infielder has batted just .220/.294/.298 with one home run and 13 RBI in 168 at-bats between the Pirates and Diamondbacks this season.

애리조나 다이아몬드백스가 내야수 바비 크로스비를 방출했습니다.

방출 조치가 그다지 놀랄만한건 아니라고, 크로스비는 크리스 스나이더 트레이드때 벅스에서 이적해왔습니다.

올해 30살이며 올시즌 타/출/장 .220/.294/.298과 1홈런 13타점을 168타석에서 피츠버그와 애리조나에서 기록했습니다.

아시다시피 오클랜드에서 신인왕을 했던 선수였는데, 좀 안타깝네요



Reds recalled RHP Same LeCure from Triple-A Louisville.
This move is being made so that the team has a backup plan if Travis Wood has a short outing Tuesday night. Though LeCure is showing good control this year, he's a little long in the tooth (26) to be considered a legit prospect, and his strikeout rates aren't great either.

Marlins recalled OF Cameron Maybin from Triple-A New Orleans.
The Marlins sent Cody Ross to the Giants on a waiver claim Monday, opening playing time for the 23-year-old Maybin. He's hit .338 with a .915 OPS since his June demotion to the minors and will probably be granted a large chunk of at-bats for the out-of-contention Fish.

Mets signed RHP Yhency Brazoban to a minor league contract.
Brazoban put up some gaudy numbers this season in the Mexican League and may be able to score an invite to spring training next February if that success translates state-side for the next month. He has not pitched in the majors since 2008, when he made three relief appearances for the Dodgers.

Athletics optioned OF Travis Buck to Triple-A Sacramento.
Batting average issues aside, Buck just hasn't shown enough power to survive in a corner outfield spot and is looking like an organizational player at this point.

Rays activated RHP Wade Davis from the 15-day disabled list.
It's never nice to hear about shoulder woes, but Davis seems to have weathered that storm about as well as could be hoped. The team called the time off 'precautionary,' he didn't complain of pain during his stint on the DL, and he pitched 'extremely well' in a simulated game on Friday. Perhaps this was all orchestrated to keep his innings down. He's still a good spot start in most leagues right now, and still owns great upside.

We saw this coming when the club signed Alex Cora last week. Limited to just 50 games this season due to back problems, Arias batted .272/.290/.347 with nine RBI in 98 at-bats.

Nationals recalled RHP Colin Balester from Triple-A Syracuse.
Balester was struggling at Triple-A this year (6.60 ERA), and hasn't ever struck out even eight batters per nine in the minor leagues, so his upside is severely limited. He'll take Stephen Strasburg's place until Jordan Zimmermann is called up later in the week, most likely.

워싱턴 내셔널스가 우완투수 콜린 베일스터를 트리플 A 사큐러스에서 승격시켰습니다.

트리플 A에서 올시즌 불펜과 선발을 오가며 6.60의 방어율을 기록했습니다.

스트라스버그가 15일자 부상자 명단에 등재됨에 따라 취한 조치이며, 다음주중에 조단 짐머맨을 올릴때까지 데리고 있는것 같습니다.

Marlins signed 3B Wes Helms to a one-year, $1 million contract extension.
Helms has done a solid enough job at third base since the Marlins traded Jorge Cantu to the Rangers in July. The 34-year-old will make for a fine backup infielder in 2011, assuming the Fish make a few upgrades, and got a nice little raise from the $950,000 that he's earning this year.

The Jays have wisely tempered their excitement about the young power-hitting catcher. Sure, Arencibia is an exciting guy to watch in what has been a disappointing year for Toronto fans, but the 24-year-old is better off seeing regular playing time down on the farm. John Buck is expected return from the disabled list and take over starting catcher duties for the Jays on Friday.

Rangers recalled LHP Derek Holland from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
As expected, Holland will make the start against the Rangers on Wednesday afternoon. The young southpaw hasn't pitched in the big leagues since May 30 due to left rotator cuff inflammation. He is 2-1 with a 4.00 ERA in four starts since returning to action with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He's worth picking up in AL-only leagues down the stretch.

Reds designated RHP Micah Owings for assignment.
Owings posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 22 relief appearances this year for the Reds before they optioned him in late July. He's a great athlete and may draw interest from pitching-desperate teams. The move cleared a 40-man roster spot for first-round draft pick Yasmani Grandal.

Dodgers released RHP Claudio Vargas.
Vargas was signed to a minor league contract in June after being released by the Brewers. The 32-year-old right-hander posted a 5.89 ERA in 10 starts with Triple-A Albuquerque.

Wellemeyer ate some innings for the Giants earlier this season but belongs nowhere near a playoff caliber pitching stuff. He posted a 5.52 ERA over 11 starts and will probably look for a bullpen gig elsewhere.

Phillies designated 3B Greg Dobbs for assignment.
Dobbs was also designated for assignment back in June and passed through waivers pretty easily. Why? Because he's 32, he's batting .191/.250/.319 in 141 at-bats this year, and he is a .261/.307/.411 career hitter. Look for him to wind up at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

올시즌 백업요원으로 141타수 동안 타/출장/ .191/.250/.319를 기록했으며 지난 4년간 필리스에서 백업선수로 생활했습니다.

지난 6월에도 지명할당 된적이 있었다고 하네요

그 당시 트리플 A에서 경기 뛴적도 있고 이번에도 트리플A로 가지 않을까 싶습니다.

Angels placed RHP Joel Pineiro on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain.
He's out for the next six-to-eight weeks. Pineiro was pulled while warming up in the bullpen prior to Wednesday's game. The right-hander was 10-7 with a 4.18 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP through 20 starts this season.

Rangers activated RHP Rich Harden from the 15-day disabled list.
Harden has struggled for the Rangers this season and was even dangled at the trade deadline, but he's still capable of racking up strikeouts and has the talent to finish the year strong. He'll get back to business on Saturday night with a start against the Angels and right-hander Dan Haren.

Rays placed RHP Grant Balfour on the 15-day disabled list with an intercostal strain.
In other words, he has strained ribs. Balfour, who has pitched very well this year for the Rays, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. His injury is likely what prompted the team to trade for Chad Qualls.

템파베이 레이스의 우완투수 그랜트 발포어가 늑간 부상으로 인하여 15일자 부상자 명단에 등재되었습니다.

회복기간에 4주에서 6주가량 걸릴것이라고 하며, 팀은 발포어의 공백을 매우기 위해 애리조나에서 채드 퀄스를 영입했습니다.




Mariners recalled 3B Matt Tuiasosopo from Triple-A Tacoma.
He returns to a .167/.211/.241 line in 58 plate appearances over a pair of stints with the Mariners this year. He's starting at third base on Saturday.

시애틀 매리너스가 3루수 맷 투이스스포를 트리플 A에서 승격시켰습니다.

일전에 잠깐 올라왔으나 58타석에서 .167의 타율을 기록했었습니다.

한편 시애틀은 우완투수 션 화이트를 메이저로 승격시켰으며, 저스틴 스모크가 마이너로 강등, 밀튼 브래들리가 15일자 

부상자 명단에 등재되었습니다.




Athletics optioned LHP Cedrick Bowers to Triple-A Sacramento.
Bowers has appeared in 14 games for the A's this season and posted a 4.50 ERA. He'll be recalled if there's an injury in the Oakland bullpen.

오클랜드 애슬래틱스의 좌완투수이자 전 한화 이글스의 투수 세드릭 바워스가 트리플 A로 강등되었습니다.

올시즌 14게임 등판 4.50의 방어율을 기록했습니다.

불펜에 부상선수가 발생시 다시 올라올 것이라고..

한편 바워스의 자리는 부프 본저가 메이저로 승격되었습니다. 얼마전에 보스턴에서 지명할당 당했었는데 어느새 오클랜드로

Yankees optioned OF Colin Curtis to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Curtis batted .256 with a home run over 43 at-bats in his stint with the Yanks. With Austin Kearns added to the roster, Curtis will head back to Triple-A to get more playing time.

Astros recalled 1B Brett Wallace from Triple-A Round Rock.
Wallace, who was acquired from the Blue Jays Thursday, will be thrown right into the fire, as he's in Saturday's starting lineup. He's batted .301 with 18 homers and 61 RBI in his hitter-friendly home park in Las Vegas this season. Wallace stands a chance at generating a good amount of value in NL-only leagues right away.

휴스턴 애스트로스의 1루수 브렛 왈라스가 메이저리그로 승격되었습니다.

이 유망주 1루수는 올시즌 트리플 A에서 .301의 타율과 18홈런 61타점을 기록했으며, 불과 1년사이에 세인트루이스-오클랜드

토론토-휴스턴으로 4개의 팀을 옮겨다닌 이후로 승격되어 오늘 데뷔전을 치뤘습니다.


Marlins acquired LHP Will Ohman from the Orioles for RHP Rick Vandenhurk.
Ohman has turned himself into a valuable LOOGY, allowing an 87 OPS+ to left-handed batters but a 149 OPS+ to right-handed hitters. He has a 3.30 ERA over 51 appearances, but that number is inflated by a few terrible outings. Ohman will help set up Leo Nunez in taking his talents to South Beach.

Orioles recalled 3B Josh Bell from Triple-A Norfolk.
He's in the lineup to play third base for the Orioles on Thursday against the Royals. The 23-year-old will get a chance to prove he is ready to be a major league regular, as the Orioles just shipped Miguel Tejada to the Padres. Bell is 5-for-19 (.263) with the O's in two stints earlier this season. He was ranked as the organization's No. 2 prospect by Baseball America over the winter and hit .278/.328/.481 in 344 plate appearances for Triple-A Norfolk. He's a must-add in all AL-only leagues but not yet a mixed league option.

White Sox signed RHP Jon Adkins to a minor league contract.
Adkins, 32, threw up a 5.46 ERA in 34 games for Louisville before the Reds cut ties with him last week. He will head to Triple-A Charlotte and is unlikely to carve a path to the major leagues this season.

시카고 화이트삭스가 우완투수 존 앳킨스와 마이너리그 계약을 맺었습니다.

Marlins purchased the contract of INF Hector Luna from Triple-A New Orleans.
Luna will take the roster spot vacated by Thursday afternoon's Jorge Cantu trade. The 30-year-old Luna hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2008 but he's posted a respectable .845 OPS, 16 homers and 71 RBI in 354 at-bats on the Triple-A level this season. Not bad.

Dodgers designated LHP Jack Taschner for assignment.
Taschner signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in June and was called up to the big leagues last week. But he allowed 14 earned runs in 19 2/3 innings and will either elect free agency or head back to Triple-A Albuquerque. It may be in his best interest to stick with the Dodgers.


LA 다저스가 좌완투수 잭 태스너를 지명할당 처리 했습니다.

태스너는 6월 다저스와 마이너계약을 한 이후에 최근 메이저리그에 부름을 받아 던졌으나 19 2/3이닝동안 14점을 내주며

부진했습니다.

원하는 팀이 없을시 트리플A로 내려갈 것이라고 하네요.



Pirates released RHP Brendan Donnelly.
Donnelly was a huge bust after signing a one-year, $1.35 million contract over the winter, posting a 5.58 ERA and a 26/25 K/BB ratio over 38 appearances. The 39-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment by the club on Sunday.

이 39살의 우완투수는 올시즌 피츠버그와 1년 135만달러 계약을 맺었으나 38게임동안 5.58의 방어율을 기록한 후

Rangers purchased the contract of 1B-OF Mitch Moreland from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
He'll take the place of Ian Kinsler on the 25-man roster. Moreland, 24, was batting .289/.371/.484 with 12 home runs and 65 RBI in 353 at-bats with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He was ranked as the organization's No. 8 prospect by Baseball America over the winter. If he plays well, there's a chance he could unseat Chris Davis at first base.

텍사스 레인제스가 트리플A 1루수이자 외야수인 미치 모어랜드를 메이저리그로 승격시켰습니다.

이안 킨슬러가 부상자 명단에 오르면서 빈 자리를 대신하는 것 같습니다.

올시즌 모어랜드는 트리플A에서 .289의 타율 12홈런 65타점을 기록했습니다.

칸투가 들어올 자리는 크리스 데이비스가 마이너리그로 내려갔습니다.

As expected, Gary Matthews Jr. has exercised his right to opt out of his contract with the Reds.
The outfielder had the clause included in his contract so that he could become a free agent if he wasn't called up to the major by July 24. He was hitting pretty well at Triple-A Louisville and will now look to catch on with another team.

게리 매튜스 주니어가 신시네티 레즈와의 계약종료를 선언하였습니다.

신시네티로 옮겨갈때 7월 24일까지 메이저리그로 승격못하면 계약을 종료할 수 있다는 조항이 있었던 것 같습니다.

2006년 올스타에 선정된적이 있는 매튜스 주니어는 빅 리그 레벨에서 플레이 하고 싶다고 했다더군요

신시네티 트리플  A 루이빌에서 23게임 타율 .317 3개의 홈런과 6타점을 기록했습니다. OPS는 .856



Rockies activated RHP Taylor Buchholz from the 60-day disabled list.
Buchholz hasn't pitched since 2008 while recovering from Tommy John surgery. He pitched extremely well that year in a relief role with the Rockies, but the right-hander didn't fare too well in his rehab outings and should be left on the waiver wire until he shows he's regained his old form.

콜로라도 로키스의 우완투수 테일러 벅홀츠가 60일자 부상자 명단에서 복귀했습니다.

타미 존 수술을 받았었던 벅홀츠는 2008년 이후 투구한적이 없다고.. 

불펜투수로 뛰게 될것이라고 하네요.



Yankees activated RHP Sergio Mitre from the 15-day disabled list.
Mitre, who has been out with an oblique injury, will start Saturday for the Yanks and looks to remain in the rotation for a few weeks while Andy Pettitte is on the DL. The right-hander held a 4.61 ERA in his rehab starts but did strike out 16 while walking only two over 13 2/3 innings.

뉴욕 양키스의 우완투수 세르지오 미트레가 15일자 부상자 명단에서 복귀했습니다.

부상자 명단에 올라가있는 앤디 패팃에 로테이션을 대체할 것입니다.

트리플A의 마무리 투수이자 MLB에서도 곧 잘한 Jonathan Albaladejo가 옵션이 남아있어 마이너로 보냈습니다.

채드 고딘은 가시방석에 앉은 기분일 것 같습니다.



Padres activated RHP Mat Latos from the 15-day disabled list.
The Padres putting Latos on the DL was a little fishy from the beginning, as most thought they were just wanting to rest their young right-hander and using the DL as a means to get an extra roster spot. Nevertheless, he's back and you should start him with confidence Saturday against the Pirates.

큰 부상은 없었으나 선수 보호차원 및 휴식차원에서 등재되었었는데 오늘 피츠버그와의 선발등판이 예정되어 있습니다.

Cardinals activated OF Ryan Ludwick from the 15-day disabled list.
Ludwick has been out since June 25 with a calf injury. He had a double and a pair of home runs in nine at-bats for Triple-A Memphis during his rehab assignment, so it appears that the outfielder is OK to stick back in your lineup immediately. The Cardinals will welcome him back after getting shut out Friday for the second straight game, which is the first time that's happened during the Tony La Russa era.

Rangers placed C Matt Treanor on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right posterior cruciate ligament.
Treanor suffered the knee injury during Friday's game against the Angels and will probably be out until the end of August. Taylor Teagarden has been recalled from the minors and will serve as the Rangers' backup catcher. Treanor, 34, was batting .225/.304/.352 through 182 at-bats.

텍사스 레인저스의 포수 맷 트레이너가 십자 인대 부상으로 15일자 부상자 명단에 등재되었습니다.

트레이너는 금요일 애인절스와의 경기에서 무릎 부상을 입었으며 8월말 정도까지 결장할 것이라고 합니다.

테일러 티거든이 트레이너를 대신하여 콜업되었으며 벤지 몰리나의 백업 역할을 할 것이라고 합니다.

티거든은 올시즌 더블A에서 52게임 타율 .242 3개의 홈런과 32타점을 기록..

83년생의 유망주 출신이 왜 더블A에서 있는지 이해가 되지않아 찾아보니 트리플A는 살탈라만타치아가 뛰고있습니다.

최근에는 트리플A에 있었다고 하네요



Marlins recalled RHP Chris Volstad from Triple-A New Orleans.
Volstad will return to the Marlins' starting rotation on Sunday against the Braves. He's posted a 4.78 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP in 17 big league starts and probably shouldn't be trusted in most fantasy leagues.

Athletics optioned LHP Cedrick Bowers to Triple-A Sacramento.
Bowers was cleared to make room for Tuesday's starter Dallas Braden. The 32-year-old left-hander has a 4.85 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over 13 relief appearances in two stints with the A's this season.

올해 32살의 이 좌완투수는 13게임동안 4.85의 방어율 1.31의 whip를 기록했다고..

바워스를 대신하여 퍼펙트 게임의 주인공 댈러스 브레이든이 부상자 명단에서 돌아왔습니다.



Orioles optioned RHP Chris Tillman to Triple-A Norfolk.
Well, that was quick. The O's apparently saw enough after the 22-year-old right-hander was rocked for eight runs over 2 2/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Monday night. Tillman now has a 7.92 ERA over six starts in the big leagues this season. He'll continue to hone his craft in the minor leagues, but this yo-yo act is getting pretty old. Mike Gonzalez or Kevin Millwood is expected to take his place on the roster.

볼미모어의 탑 투수 유망주인 이 22살의 선수는 6번틔 빅리그 선발 등판에서 7.32의 방어율을 기록하면서 아직은 메이저에 

적응하지 못했습니다.

틸먼을 대신해서 마이크 곤잘레스나 케빈 밀우드가 로스터에 복귀할 것이라고 합니다.



Indians activated SS Asdrubal Cabrera from the 60-day disabled list.
Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Cabrera was originally scheduled to be activated from the disabled list Friday, however the Indians changed their minds after Cabrera was 2-for-4 with a solo home run for Double-A Akron on Monday night. Cabrera was batting .287/.322/.368 with one home run and seven RBI before going on the disabled list and is well worth adding in most formats.

클리브랜드 인디언스의 유격수 애스류드발 카브레라가 60일자 부상자 명단에서 복귀했습니다.

더블A에서 재활과정을 거친 카브레라가 복귀함으로서 제이슨 도날드가 2루로 갈지 궁금해집니다.

한편 카브레라의 자리를 만들기위해 우완투수 젠센 루이스를 지명할당 처리하였습니다.



Yankees placed LHP Andy Pettitte on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 1 strain of his left groin.
Pettitte, because he's old and the strain is rather severe, is expected to miss the next four-to-five weeks. The Yankees will give his spot in the starting rotation to Sergio Mitre by this weekend -- probably Saturday. The 38-year-old Pettitte has posted an 11-2 record, 2.88 ERA and 1.20 WHIP this season and will be sorely missed both by the Yankees and his fantasy owners.

뉴욕 양키스의 좌완투수 앤디 패팃이 사타구니 부상으로 15일자 부상자 명단에 등재되었습니다.

앞으로 4~5주정도 결장할것으며, 그의 로테이션은 세르지오 미트레가 맡을 것 이라고 합니다.
