The A's have exercised manager Bob Geren's 2011 option.
Geren has been with the Athletics since 2007 and has posted a 296-329 record over three-plus years. The A's are 70-70 this season under his watch, outperforming some expectations that had them as the worst team in the American League West. He seems like a nice fit for their young roster. 오클랜드 에이스가 그들의 현재 감독인 밥 게런의 2011년 계약 옵션을 실행했습니다.
게런은 2007년부터 에이스의 감독으로 부임하여 3년동안 296승 329패를 기록했습니다.
올시즌에는 70승 70패를를 기록하는 중이며, 내년시즌에는 젊은선수들과 더 좋은 성적을 낼 수 있을것이라고 합니다.
아직도 빌리빈의 영향이 큰지는 모르겠지만 현재 젊은 선수들이 성공적으로 메이저리그에 안착하는 모습을
높게 평가한 것 같습니다.
